About
Firebrand

What is Firebrand Initiative?

Firebrand Initiative is a Christ-centered mentorship and discipleship movement for men, based in Mesa, Arizona, and founded by Justin Dewing. It trains men spiritually, mentally, physically and emotionally through three levels of mentorship, the monthly Firebrand Intensive in Paradise Valley, Arizona, and a free online community. Jesus transforms. Firebrand equips.

Who is Firebrand for?

Christian men who believe in Jesus but are tired of staying stuck in the same cycles: men who want real structure, brotherhood and accountability, and are willing to be challenged and corrected. It isn’t for the man who wants to stay comfortable, or who wants grace without repentance.

Where is Firebrand based?

Firebrand Initiative is based in Mesa, Arizona. Mentorship runs on weekly calls, with voice notes and messages added at the 1-on-1 level. The Firebrand Intensive is held in person at a private home in Paradise Valley, Arizona.

Is Firebrand counseling or therapy?

No. Firebrand is Christian mentorship and discipleship, not licensed counseling. The Intensive application asks whether you’re in counseling, a recovery program or a discipleship relationship. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 in the US.

Do I need to be a Christian?

Firebrand is built on Jesus and written for men who believe in Him. The Intensive application asks how long you’ve been saved, about your baptism and your local church, so Justin can see where you are.

What is the FIRE Framework?

The FIRE Framework is how Firebrand trains men: Faith as the foundation, Identity anchored in Christ, Resilience to endure and overcome, and Execution that turns discipline into action.

Mentorship
questions

How much does Firebrand mentorship cost?

Prices aren’t listed. Applying is free. Justin Dewing reads every application himself, and if he believes he can genuinely help, he sends clear direction, options and straightforward pricing for the level that fits.

What’s the difference between Group and 1-on-1 Mentorship?

Group Mentorship is weekly mentorship calls, weekly challenges and a monthly close-proximity session with a brotherhood of men. 1-on-1 Mentorship includes all of that, plus weekly personal proximity with Justin: scheduled 1-on-1 calls, voice notes, messages and direct correction.

Who reads my application?

Justin Dewing, the founder. Every application is reviewed personally. No high-pressure closer and no “today only” games.

How long does the application take?

A minute or two. It asks where you are, what you’re struggling with and who you want to become.

Is there a free way to start?

Yes. The Firebrand community on Skool is free to join, as are the daily routines in The Firebrand Arsenal and The Firebrand Podcast on YouTube.

The
Intensive

What is the Firebrand Intensive?

A three-day, in-person summit for Christian men at a private home in Paradise Valley, Arizona. It runs every month, from Friday evening to Sunday, with two nights on site. Justin Dewing leads all three days, with Elijah Fishbaugh training on Days 2 and 3.

How much does the Firebrand Intensive cost?

It costs nothing to apply. Every application is reviewed; approved men are sent the acceptance fee to confirm their seat. Lodging, meals and every session are included.

How often is the Intensive held?

Every month. Seats are limited on purpose, so the group stays small.

Is it a conference or a retreat?

Neither. It isn’t a conference and it isn’t a feel-good weekend. Practices start before sunrise and include fasting and cold-water immersion, alongside teaching, prayer, deliverance, spiritual-warfare training and brotherhood.

What happens after the weekend?

Every man leaves with a daily routine he has already run, and is connected to a brotherhood that holds the line with him long after the weekend ends.
